A customer came to Ariston Engraving needing a large stainless steel plate engraved. The stainless steel plate was 25" wide by 16" high by 3/8" thick. The engravers at Ariston Engraving ran the job according to the customers specifications and completed another successful job. After the plate was installed by the customer in its permanent, outdoor location, the customer called on Ariston Engraving to backfill the letters. Typically a simple job, the backfilling of the plate now became complicated since the plate was permentently installed outdoors and was in a vertical position. After performing some tests, Ariston Engraving was able to go out on site and backfill the letters according to the customers specifications.
The plate currently sits next to the WindWheels sculpture on the outskirts of Boston Logan International Airport.
